Privacy policy

This is a translation for your convenience. In case of a dispute, the Serbian version applies.

This policy explains what personal data we collect on powernutz.rs, why we do it and what rights you have. We process data in accordance with the Law on Personal Data Protection (Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia, No. 87/2018).

Who processes the data

The data controller is Društvo sa ograničenom odgovornošću PowerNutz Smederevo, Srpskog Sovjeta 10, 11300 Smederevo, Srbija, company registration number 22093045, tax ID (PIB) 114935936. For any questions about your data, write to contact@powernutz.rs.

What data we collect

  • When you order: first and last name, delivery address, postal code and city, phone number, email, the contents and amount of the order, and a note for the courier if you write one.
  • News by email: your email address, when you sign up for news in the discount popup or in the form at the bottom of the site, or when “Keep me posted on news and discounts” stays checked at checkout. With a signup from the discount popup, we also record your answer to the question about what you're after and the discount code you got. We also record that you agreed to receive news by email.
  • When you write a review: the rating, name, email, title and text of the review. The review goes into our reviews spreadsheet, and we publish it only after checking it. The site shows the name, rating, title and text, and we never publish the email. We use it if we need to ask you something about the review, and to check whether our records have an order with that email. If they do, the review is marked “Verified purchase”.
  • When you write to us or call: whatever you send us yourself, so we can reply or resolve a complaint.

We don't collect payment card details, because payment is cash on delivery only.

Why, and on what legal basis

  • Performance of a contract: to confirm your order, deliver the package, and handle a complaint or a return.
  • Legal obligations: issuing receipts and keeping business records under accounting and tax regulations.
  • Consent: publishing a review you send us. If you want us to remove it, write to us at contact@powernutz.rs.
  • Consent: sending news and discounts by email. You can withdraw your consent at any time, by unsubscribing in the email or by writing to us at contact@powernutz.rs.
  • Legitimate interest: keeping order data and correspondence in case we need to bring a legal claim or defend ourselves against one.
  • Legitimate interest: checking whether a discount code that is valid only for the first order can be used. When you order with a code, we check whether our records already have an order with your email. We don't collect any new data for this.

The details you enter when ordering are needed for the contract to be concluded and the package delivered. Without them, we can't accept the order.

Who we share data with

We don't sell data or hand it over for advertising. It only goes to those without whom the order can't be processed:

  • the courier service AKS Express, which delivers the package (name, address, phone, amount to collect),
  • the service we use to send order confirmation emails and through which messages and newsletter signups from the site reach us (Resend),
  • Google, in whose spreadsheet we keep our order records, newsletter signups and reviews, and whose Analytics measures visits to the site,
  • the company that hosts the site (hosting),
  • our accountants and government authorities, when the law requires it.

Some of these services process data on servers outside the Republic of Serbia, including in the European Union and the USA. In those cases we rely on the safeguards these services apply, such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep data

  • We keep order data and receipts for as long as accounting and tax regulations require.
  • We keep records of complaints and withdrawal statements for two years from the day they were made, as the Law on Consumer Protection requires.
  • We keep correspondence and the data needed for a possible legal claim for as long as the statutory limitation periods last.
  • We keep your consent to receive news until you withdraw it.

How we keep data safe

Only the people who need order data to do their job have access to it. The site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to the services where the data is stored is password protected.

Minors

Only adults can buy, because only an adult can receive and pay for the package. We don't knowingly collect data from minors.

Cookies and similar technologies

  • Visit statistics (Google Analytics): to know how many people come to the site, which pages they look at and from which devices, we use Google Analytics. It places cookies in your browser (for example _ga) with a random number that tells visitors apart, not your name. Google shortens the IP address, and we have turned off linking with Google accounts and ad personalization. The data is processed by Google, also on servers in the USA. If you don't want this, block cookies in your browser settings or install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).
  • We don't use advertising cookies or tracking across other sites.
  • Your cart is stored in your browser (local storage), so it doesn't disappear when you close the page. That data doesn't reach us until you send an order, and you delete it by clearing the site's data in your browser.
  • The map on the Locations page is loaded from the OpenStreetMap service. When it loads, your browser sends your IP address to that service, as it does on every visit to any website.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for access to the data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing and to take it with you (data portability), as well as to object to processing and to withdraw your consent. Send your request to contact@powernutz.rs, and we reply within 30 days.

If you believe we process data unlawfully, you can file a complaint with the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection, Bulevar kralja Aleksandra 15, 11120 Beograd, www.poverenik.rs.

Changes to this policy

We may change this policy when the way we work or the regulations change. The current version is always on this page.
